Lubbock SHRM Membership

 All memberships are granted to the individual, not the organization they are associated with, as such, succession to or transfer of membership is not permissible. The purpose of the Lubbock Chapter of SHRM is to promote education and net-working to expand the body of knowledge of human resource professionals. The organization is not intended as a vehicle to promote any business or to provide contacts for the solicitation of business. Local membership begins January 1st and continues until December 31st each year. Memberships must be renewed each calendar year.

Code of Conduct

  • Maintain the Highest standards of professional and personal conduct
  • Strive for personal growth in the field of human resource management
  • Support SHRM's goals and objectives for developing the human resource management profession
  • Instill in the public and other members a sense of confidence about my conduct and intentions
  • Uphold all laws and regulations related to my activities
  • Refrain from using my official positions, either regular or voluntary, to secure special privilege, gain or benefit for myself
  • Maintain the confidentiality of privileged information
  • Recognize that the Chapter of SHRM meetings, events, and/or any other Lubbock Chapter of SHRM activities are times for networking and developing, not times for sales contacts or self-promotion
