Dear SHRM members,
Thank you for the support you provide the Lubbock community as you recruit quality employees to our fine city. As you promote Lubbock and recruit candidates to live and work here, I want you to be informed of all that Lubbock ISD has to offer the school-age children of your prospects. Each month, I host the Superintendent’s Roundtable Luncheon, which gives me an opportunity to update community leaders on what Lubbock ISD is doing for students and to hear from various groups invested in our schools.
I hope you can join me for lunch on Thursday, April 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Community Room of PlainsCapital Park at Lowrey Field, at 66th Street and Avenue P. The Community Room is most easily accessed by entering the press box on the west side and taking the elevator to the second floor.
During the lunch meeting, I will update you on some of the challenges and opportunities in Lubbock ISD, as well as the wonderful accomplishments we have achieved in the 2016-17 school year. I am also very interested in your perspective, comments and suggestions. I know you have a full schedule, but I hope you will be able to join me for an engaging conversation over lunch.
Please RSVP to Sarah Freeman, 806-219-0016 or firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday, April 6. I hope to see you on April 13 at 11:30 a.m.
Very truly yours,
Berhl Robertson, Jr., Ed. D - Superintendent
